The 1st Conjunction New Moon of the 1st Month of the New Year occurred on March 26, 2009 at 6:06 pm Jerusalem time exactly 11 minutes after sunset 5:55 pm in Jerusalem thus March 27th, 2009 is the New Day of the 1st month.

What is odd is that the Jewish Hillel II calendar establishes March 26, 2009 as the New Moon day of the 1st month even though the Conjunction did not occur until after sunset at the beginning of the 27th. Thus the 14th Day of the 1st month will be April 8th with most COG groups keeping the New Covenant Passover after sunset on the previous evening of the 7th of April, instead of the correct time after sunset on the 8th of April.
