During my research I have found out that the books of the New Testament are not in the order they were from the start. If this is so, What is the correct order? From looking at the dates these Scriptures were written they do not line up at all in my mind.

I did go back and read these Scriptures in the order that one person said they should be and it did line up things better and or make more sense.

Please bare with me on my questions, because I am trying to put close to three years of research into some order for me. So some of my questions may seem childish. All I know is that I am not the same person I was three years ago because of what Yahweh has shown me about the truth.

You would probably get as many opinions of the subject of the order of the New Testament books as there are New Testament books.

My research has found that:

There are no original Greek or Hebrew New Testament manuscripts/scrolls that date before 800-900 CE.

This also applies to original Greek or Hebrew Old Testament Scrolls with the exception of the Dead Sea Scrolls and few other archeology finds.

All of the writings originally were individual scrolls and it was not until they were canonized into the old and new testaments that a sequential order was established. The Hebrew Tanaach Old Testament book order is different than that of the King James Version, while the King James gets its book order from the Greek

Septuagint Old Testament book order.

I was doing a New Testament series in which I was following a time line of when each book was written, the events were not always in the same historical time line as the other books.

In the final analysis the book order of the New Testament has no bearing on our salvation.
